Both ctcLink and NetID accounts will be used frequently.
It's easy to be confused as to which account is used for which activity.
ctcLink is used to access:
- Canvas (LMS - Learning Management System)
- Lots to explore on the Student Home Page
- Register for classes; manage classes
- View academic progress and records
- View assigned advisor
- Financial aid
- Pay for classes
- Record changes in email, phone, name, and address
- Financial Account - make payments, review charges due
- Register for classes; manage classes
- ctcLink has the shorter password - minimum of 8 characters
NetId is used to log in to:
- Student email - every student has a student email address
- Student email address is often, but not always, along the lines of firstname.lastname@student.wwcc.edu or firstname.middleinitial.lastname@student.wwcc.edu
- Microsoft o365 applications - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
- Campus Wi-Fi
- Computers on campus:
- in the WWCC Library
- in Warrior Tutoring
- in the Computer Lab
- NetID has a longer password - minimum of 14 characters
