A Chromebook extension for Lockdown Browser is now available for Canvas Quizzes. Chromebook users will have to install the Chrome extension in order to complete any Canvas Quizzes requiring LockDown Browser.
To install the LockDown Browser Chromebook extension onto your Chromebook, use the regular LockDown Browser installation link that your instructor provided within your Canvas course.
The link will direct Chromebook users to the Chrome web store. Select "Add to Chrome" to install the LockDown Browser Extension.
Please note: Students must use the LockDown browser link provided in the Canvas course to navigate to the Chrome web store. Simply searching the Chrome Web Store for an extension will not work.
